Found my turbo snail seemingly stuck in a crevice this morning, but when I went to move him, there was only a shell left (unless that's him tightly retracted back into the shell?) ????????
Just last night he was inching along the glass, seemingly doing well.
Will check my water parameters, but everything was fine a couple of days ago...and nothing new has been added recently. Currently the only other inhabitants are some other snails (3), a couple of blue and red legged hermit crabs, and a peppermint shrimp (about an inch long).
This is/was my first turbo (had him about 3 weeks now), so I've never seen this before . . . is he a goner, or perhaps going through some sort of "molting" phase? If it's the later, do I need to do something for it to help the process?
