Where did you put your frogspawn?

I just got a new frag of frogspawn and I was wondering where you put it in your tank. Right now mine is at a medium level with moderate flow and under 8 t-5 bulbs. I was thinking of moving it down a level but I thought I'd check here first! what do you think?

ok. I was just wondering if maybe I had too much flow on it where it is currently. It comes out during the day quite a bit, but I was wondering if it would come out more if I moved it down.

Mine expands much more in lower flow.

I agree. Mine prefers low flow. I have mine up about midway through the tank, but its on the face of a rock which shields it from the powerhead flow. Perfect spot IMO. Good lighting and low flow. :D

Got pics? Share please. :D

I might move my down to the rock below then. I only have 2 koralia 1400s, but I think it may be a little too much flow for him. Here's a pic a couple hours after putting him in my tank. He looked much more open yesterday and I'm not sure about today as I'm at work right now.

Hey, here's a quick pic of mine. It was at the bottom of a 55 gallon, few inches off the sand bed, under 4x54wT5, in very very low flow. It's tentacles barely moved around very slowly. I've since increased the flow because I've added a lot more SPS and I no longer get quite this much extension.

wow that is gorgeous! Here is an updated pic of the one I have. It seems to have opened up more.

I was debating on moving him down to that rock below.

Looks like it's inflating pretty good to me... You could try it though. I'm sure it won't hurt. Just stick with one spot once you make up your mind. I don't think they like being moved a lot.

mine is in the mid range but like RUSH I have mine shielded from strong flow mine does great in low flow also have a torch that blocks alot of the medium flow.

nice! I think it's doing better after a couple of days in my tank. It looks even more open than it was in the last pic I posted! I just moved my powerhead a little and it seems really happy! These are by far my fav LPS corals and I plan on getting torch and hammer corals as well. I just wanted to see how this guy would do in my tank first and he seems to be doing well. Of course feeding my baby clowns frozen baby brine is probably helping a bit

thanks for all the help everyone!

This is also the positioning I have mine in, it loves it there.

I know this, but my clowns would not eat the mysis as they are too small =o/ I got some life spectrum pellets to try.

When I first got my clowns, they wouldn't eat the mysis either (PE). I think they were scared of it! LOL! Hikari makes a Spirulina infused Brine shrimp, mine love that, and I also feed a lot of the NLS pellets which they love.
