They came with the tank 3 years ago and seemed to thrive. I recently noticed that I have none to be found in the DT or the sump.
I went to the LFS and they don't sell them. So, what could have happened to them??? Where do I get more?

Tank spects:
Fish: Ocellaris Clown, B&W Clown, Firefish Goby, 6-Line Wrasse, Midas Blenny, 3 Banggai Cardinals, Cleaner Shrimp, Banded Coral Shrimp, and CUC.
Reef: 150 lb. Sand, 70 lb. Rock, 10" Frog Spawn, Button Polyps, 3" Hammer, Mushrooms, Kenya Trees, Brain, Cheato and one aiptasia
Tank: 50g hex with overflow, 23 gal sump with DSB, 2x Rio 3100 return pumps, 2x15" power compact 10K, 2x 50/50, 1x actinic, 1x deep blue LED strip, chiller 650, heater 100W, skimmer 65.
I got the tank on 7/18/2014 but it has been established for over 20 years!!
I do semi-weekly water test and weekly 5g changes.
pH 7.8-8.1, NH3 0, NO2 0, NO3 0-1, PO4 0, Ca 320-400, Alk 6-7, 77-79F, Mg 1340-1420 sg 1.022-25

Both your 6-line and the Banded Coral Shrimp have been feasting on them. Their population also waxes and wanes dependent upon the available food supply.

Feed heavily, they'll show back up I'm sure. I too have noticed less since adding my melanurus. But they are there.

Me.. I have a dedicated bistleworm system (no lie). I also have so many (asteria) sp? starfish...1000s

You have more details on this system? Always intrigued by the oddball systems people keep.

Hah, most people are looking to get rid of them  Also, unless your six line and banded shrimp have learned to navigate the drain plumbing, that's unlikely to be the whole answer either. The most likely reason is that there is not enough food to support the population. They are almost certainly in there still, just not in the same numbers. Feed the tank more and they will repopulate.

Really? Do you sell them? I was looking for some a few weeks ago and I don't trust ipsf.

Pay the shipping and I'll get some out to you with my commercial fedex account :haha: . PM me though. I'll probably regret this otherwise, but I wouldn't mind for some of ya on here. I'll post up more details.

I have a pile of them as well if anyone is looking for more.

I bought a ton of rock from another person getting out of the hobby, it was FULL of bristleworms.

I love them as cleaners though, not sure why they get so much hate. They're living pipecleaners that spend all day crawling through your rock eating crap you can't reach.
