Where do you buy supplements?

Im tired of the crazy prices for supplements at the petco and ONE LFS out here so I was going to order some online. Where does everyone get their calcium and other supplements?

Which supplements and what quantities?

For kalkwasser, I like Seachem. For carbon, Seachem. For calcium, Kent's Turbo calcium.

what are you supplementing?

I'd be suprised that anything in your tank is not at proper levels. Your tank is still very young and not nearly as demanding of an elements that a more populated/mature tank is.

Make sure you test before adding anything.

Yea of course I test. I just dont feel like forking out 15 bucks for a small bottle of calcium supplement or 30 bucks for some TLF phos ban.

you're really having calcium problems already? What's your tank stocked with?


If you're having problems, the easiest way to supplement is dosing kalk IMO.

i always buy a 2liter of seachem reef complete, and a 2 liter of seachem carbonate, and every once in awhile i drip in some mrs wages pickling lime.
