Where do you buy your livestock...

Hadn't heard about any new stores opening. I saw Slippery Rock Coral closed though.

I used to go to Wet Pets but they are usually so rude and arrogant I quit shopping there.

Saltwater Sanctuary in Canonsburg is my favorite to store these days. Smaller shop but good prices and customer service.

Beachguy, I've had the exact same experience with wet pets. They also gouge you on dry goods, and I've had their sales staff flat out lie to me about equipment.

I forgot about saltwater sanctuary. I haven't bought anything from them yet, I'm not ready for any new livestock soon, but I did visit. I was impressed with their selection and cleanliness, and the guy working there was very friendly.

Ok the store in cranberry is called the reef gallery. Not 100% sure if it's new or not but the website is under construction.

I mentioned them ( Aquaworld) a few posts up- in fact will be going there in the next day or two for a few frags.

No fans of Aqua world? Where have you guys gotten your corals?

i've been there, but won't support a store that sells alligators as "pets".

additionally i've never been pleased with the state of their tanks. they tend to have very large fish in tiny tanks, and many who are obviously showing signs of disease.

i've visited them half a dozen times, and always left feeling bad for their animals.

Every coral I've gotten from aquaworld has had a hitchhiker or nuisance algae come along with it. Even after dipping them.

They have cleaned up a lot, anyone ever go to rob Williams at williams reef and aquarium?

:rolleye1: I don't care how much they've "cleaned up", that place is a front for whatever they are selling in the back or downstairs. I won't set foot near that hole.

Just my opinion, I'm old and grumpy.
