where do you shop

I live out in Yukon but made the trip to Norman to check out their stores. i only made it to Aquatics but was impressed enough to want to hit it again and visit Wet pets. My tank is probably maxed out on its bioload so I might not buy anything but you never know what you might find or learn.

One other resource is the number of members we have in the club that actively sell frags of coral, as well as the frag program inside COMAS available to members.

The frag program is designed to pass frags of coral from one hobiiest to another, and so etc. For more details read the thread at the top of the comas forum called comas sponsored programs.

Paul.

Yes, paul, i wasnt even thinking about that, I can tell you hands down that my favorite store in okc area would have to be the individual sellers, of COMAS. I've Gotten some great deals on awesome corals, and I dont have to worry about whether or not its aquacultured! :)

I went by Exotic Aquatics yesterday and it looks like they are out of business or moved or something - there isn't much in the store (from what I could see in the window). Does anyone know if they moved or something?

local fish stores are pretty good...but for more exotic sps...try frags from others in our club....Atlantis in Cali, and Reefer Madness are great with corals and rare stuff....but our local lfs are also pretty good..found some nice zoas and other rarities at reefshop :)

Have no complaint with any of the store's in the OKC area. I generally order dry goods (I live around an hour and a half from OKC area). I do buy fish from your lfs. Corals from lfs occasionally, but mainly from other members of COMAS. There are a large amount of COMAS members that have "who knows what" laying around. Just post something you are wanting. If anyone has it, and not in use, you'll more than likely get a response and a price.

stillwater isnt "that" far from me do any of you shop at shawnee, just wondering

I have been into "pet-topia" as my GF's family lives there and my parents live in seminole.

I thought they were a little overpriced on their corals. My mother uses them and they treat her good, they test her water and she calls to verify what they say with me every stinkin' time lol.

Gotta love the family members that get into the hobby....after all these years if I get another "fish" related gift I'm going to......you know!

pet vet is on 15 and air depot, they are really good if you build up the relationship with them, like i go in there a few times a week to just look and talk and they guy seems really eager to talk he is supper noce, hes kind of scarry at first hes got tattoos all over and is supper sweet

i despise petopia they should be reported to the bad biz bureo( sp) everytime i go in there they act like its an inconvence for you to ask them for help or ans them about info, its really frusterating

Oh... Oops... I need to change that. I originally thought it was a Sea Hare that nuked my tank. Although, it may have been a bacterial infection of some sort. Whatever it was, it was nasty stuff. All fish but one died in a matter or 48 hours. Even after pulling the last few out to a hospital tank.
