Where is TJ's (debaser) tank?

Ahum... Tang Police!

Looking nice TJ, how are you liking that little MH pendant compared to your PC lighting?

I love the MH. There are also 2x96w PCs on there. Things are finally adjusting to the MH. I love the shimmer affect of MH and I'm not disappointed that I didn't go with all T-5s

Looking good my friend! Gotta love the red lobo! As for the tang I know you are baby sitting ~ but I am guilty of doing the same. I put in a small yellow to mow down a red macro that was taking over my 40. The red macro was out-competing my chaeto so I had to do something. It was covering 80% of my open rockwork and taking over some of my zoos. 95% of the macro is gone now and the tang went from being a ragged fish with torn fins to a beauty in just a month. One more month and its time for it to go to a new home. It is growing very quickly and in the confines of my small tank it started picking at my clam. Go figure. I made a plaxi-glass cage to protect the clam while it recovers from the mantle nipping in the meantime. I would wait until you remove the tang before you add a clam. You never know you may end up with the same troubles I had.

I look forward to seeing more pics TJ. It looks like you are having fun with the hobby again. Great job so far with the tank!

I am guilty of the tang thing to. I got my yellow around 9 years ago (before the tang police lol) in my 55 cuz I already had one in my 150 and it looked so anorexic and sickly at pet world they sold it for cheap.
It's been in there so long now I'm almost afraid to move it but might try if I get another tank instead of my 55. I think my sailfin would prolly fight with it though.
I added 3 tiny hippos to my 150 and 1 died right away and of the 2 left one kept beating up the other so I had to move one to my 55. That one picked on my clam for months but all of a sudden stopped and I havent see it do it for a long time.
I tried to catch that one to give to Scooter but it's really shy and I was'nt able to. It's really gotten hole in the head in the 55 and I wont ever ad another one. The yellow doesnt have it at all.
I tried everything and have a grounding probe plus use vitamins and feed alot of algae but it doesnt seem to help.
Thats a 4 ft tank and I can see the difference in the tangs in the 150. My hippo in there looks alot healthier and is fed the same. The yellow seems ok in the 55 but I'm sure would love more swimming room.

Yeah LA really sent you guys some big tangs. It is a nice looking fish though and your tank looks really good.
Time to upgrage T.J. lmao

LMAO. Yeah I want a bigger tank already. I could kick myself for selling my 120. We just don't have room for a tank like that quite yet. I just am very thankful that Spike talked me back into the hobby, and that Jason helped me out with so many things.

Liveaquaria sent me everything bigger than they were supposed to! I cant wait to order from them again.

Kass, how does a grounding probe contribute to the health of your fishes? I thought those were just for electrical safety.

TJ, I believe Bri and I had a proposal to solve your too big coral problems!

Scott, there's some folks out there that believe HITH and HLLE can be caused by (or contributed to by) stray voltage in the tank.

Like those weird people that live under the large electrical lines?

Whats up with those people its like there walking around with a Hole In There Head :)

Haha Briguy.
Yeah they don't really know what causes hole in the head.
The thoughts are stray voltage, not enough vitamins or algae.

I personally just think it's stress and yeah poor diet prolly would'nt help.
I never see the other fish pick on my hippo in there but it always looks beat up so maybe my royal gramma or clowns are doing it behind the rocks where I don't see it.
