where to buy base rock and dried shelf and tonga

Well, I dunno retail wise, but I know that Pacaquafarms has pallet fulls of the stuff laying around their parking lot....

thats pacific aquafarms.. they are a wholseller you need to know someone to take you shopping there...

its hard to pick what kind of base rock to get as usually its just base.. but oceanpro has lots of live rock types for good prices...

Ocean Pro Aquatics in Chino is pretty damn cheap. The fiji had some pretty good corraline coverage, and the marshall islands had some decent shape and some nice clam shells. I know they're not really setup for walk-ins, but the vats are pretty filthy, and they'll arbitrarily label something 'show' to grab an extra $/lb from time to time. Still, I'd go back if I was trying to grab some more rock for cheap ...

my buddy has a wholesale license and can get in at the place at lax.
I did not think of buying the rock there (if they sell it)
but I thought it would be a lot cheaper to buy dead rock instead of live.

i have alot of big pieces of rock as i redid my aquascaping... let me know if you want to stop by and see it...

Marshall Island base rock @ $2.00 /lb at black coral hawaii. It has been in the system with no lights (no coraline) for about 3-4 months so it has some critters ta boot
