Where to buy blackworms locally

By me NYC area , I get them live at any local Petland. It could be deferent regulations from state to state tho. Good luck.

Glad to see your copper band actually worked

Damn thing worked GREAT! There was a blastomussa that retracted since he's been there so I cant say he's been the problem. The other blastomussa is doing fine. Maybe it was a coincidence? Now im stuck buying blackworms but I'd rather have that problem than aiptasias!

What else have you tried feeding the CBB?

I've read that mushing food in a rock is good. They like to stick their long mouth in holes!

You might also check out PaulB's feeder. Basically a container with screen he puts baby brine shrimp in and fish snag them as they pass thru the screen.

I make my own concacion with original rods food then I put oyster feast and brine shrimp. He did take to the liking to anything in there. Blackworms he liked along with all the fish in the tank.

I picked up a few peppermint a and now understand why people with lots of LPS don't use them....most of my acans are gone, but I don't really mind.

They're a blast to watch, and leave my sps and zoas alone. For now, I'm willing to sacrifice keeping fleshy lps as its a sps focused tank with some zoanthids and a scant few favia and chalices.

Glad to hear black worms are available locally. I've read they're great for all marine fish.

Yeah I didn't realize what peppermints like to eat. I have 2 tanks, recently tried to move some mushrooms to the tank with the peppermint in it, glad I tried to move some lame/cheap ones first, he devoured them.
