Where to buy cell cast acrylic?

I am going to build a 48 x 36 x 24 acrylic tank. I have access to a robotic router and a good drafting program. I am just looking for somewhere in N. Alabama or southern Tenn. to buy acrylic. Thanks for any info you have.

"Cast" acrylic is in tube form though so I am thinking you mean sheets for a tank. I am sure they will sell that also.

I've been looking for a local source also. Not really looking hard right now but for the future. I found Cope Plastics on Wal Triania. Not sure if they sell retail or not. Let me know what you find out.

Ok, thanks for the replies. Growurown, cell cast acrylic also comes in sheet form and is the type you want for aquariums, sheets also come in extruded and this stuff sucks. Home stores usually have extruded so dont make that mistake i tried to build a skimmer out of it and it doesnt work nicely.
Teamreefers I can get acrylic from INERGI exhibit and design on govenors drive for about $150 for a 4 x 8 sheet of 1/2 thick. My father owns this place and I can get it at his cost, but I wonder if we could get it wholesale through the place you mentioned by using my fathers business. I only need a sheet and a half and if you would be interested in buying some together maybe we can get a better deal. Just PM me if you are interested.

Thanks for the info, I never heard the term extruded before but it does make perfect since because the local home stores sheets are definately not up to par for aquarium use.

There is a place called Engineered Plastics of Alabama they are at 2612 Hall Ave NW Huntsville (256) 533-5966.

I have picked up cell cast acrylic from them in the past in sheet quantity. I'm thinking they may have to order something the thickness you would need, but they have a pretty big selection. I would think they are your best bet local. I hope this helps..
