Where to buy fish online??

Evyllchyld

Trying again
I don't know if this belongs here, but I was wondering where online I can buy fish? I know a few places (liveaquaria swf.com etropical marinedepotlive) and i've been googling like crazy, but can't find sites. I was hoping you guys could help me with that. Just list sites and if you have dealt with them tell me about the experience. Also, if this thread doesn't belong on this board, then please feel free to move it :). I'm looking for true percs, I was going to get a bonded pair of true percs but decided I was going to get two young ones and let them bond. My LFS is terribly overpriced (usually around $30+ per clown) From what I see, I can get them for $21~ + shipping. My LFS doesn't order the kind I want also. Well, thanks for any help.

If you click forums and then scroll down to the Sponsor Forums, you can find alot there.

Such as: Atlantis Aquarium, Blue Zoo Aquatics, and Dr. Macs & Sons to name a few.

I forgot to mention, I went to all the sponsor sites also lol. Just wanted to know whats out there for future purchases, and maybe my first purchase.

My personal favorite are LiveAquaria and saltwaterfish.com (they are also the only ones I've ordered from lol).

From the looks of it Blue Zoo (fairly new sponsor) seems to be a great website to buy livestock or dry goods, they'll probably be the next one I order from.

I'd like to order from liveaquaria, but they don't have the true percs I want in, just says "Coming Soon" I guess i'll contact them tomorrow and see if/when they have intentions of getting some in.

Check out Marinecenter.com. They have a great reputation and and carry hard to find fish..They may be a little pricey

favorites I've ordered from --
liveaquaria, petsolutions, exoticfish.com,
least fav -- cuz the fish came beat up and one died after a week
marinedepotlive
place that looks the best quality but too expensive -
marinecenter
places i check often --
fishsupply, saltwaterfish

Thanks for all the sites, I checked them all out and found a lot of interesting things. I'm glad to see everyones input.

I've had decent luck with both liveaquaria and petsolutions. Petsolutions even credits your credit card (not just store credit) for dead fish during the guarantee period, no questions asked.

Only drawback of them is the UPS shipping. I've gotten overnight shipments as late as 7PM from them. Said shipment had fish and a ton of snails and everything was alive though.

Live Aquaria is a class act. They are a little pricey and you need to check, or leave them a note to contact when available sometimes but the livestock (my experience) is healthy and they are good to work with if you have shipping issues or untimely deaths.

I ordered from saltwaterfish.com also, anthias came in very thin but all survived, prices are good.

Did not see someone's response about shipping - always put the address as your local Fed Ex and pickup in the a.m. yourself as opposed to waiting on the truck.
