where to buy hob skimmers online?

hey im upgrading my tank in the next month to a 75 gallon n dont have much room..so i was wondering where is the best place to buy a HOB skimmer online? I know the reef octopus is the best from what i hear.So any ideas? thanks guys

If you are getting a 75G I would definitely shoot for getting a sump. HOB skimmers are not the best to begin with and I have doubts that there are any on the market that would truly handle a 75G tank. I understand you have limited space, but the tank has to sit on something, so there is always room underneath for a sump.

If you are dead set on getting a HOB skimmer vs a sump then just try BRS, marinedepot, etc, I can't make any recommendations because I have never used a HOB (just heard bad things).

its not so much the room i should say is that i live n a mobile home and really dont wanna put and extra 200 or 300 pounds for a sump..i would love to do a sump just cant c putting the extra weight in there right now..

If a sump isn't an option then your best bet would be a Deltec MCE600. They get consistently good reviews and is one of the only HOB skimmers that are truly rated for your sized tank. Most HOBs aren't rated for tanks over 50G.

thanks..ive narrowed it down to the one u just talked about and a Reef Octopus BH2000 its rated for 125 also but im gonna go on youtube n c what videos are posted of both..again thanks for your help
