Where to find skimmer cup drain plug

Where can I find a replacement plug for the drain on the skimmer cup. It's the little orange one

Which model skimmer? This is what I use. One end has the drain line slipped over it. The other end goes to my 1 gallon skimmate jug. It disconnects in the middle between the two valves so you could use half of it or both ends. When you want to drain the cup, you just open the valve.

It's for the sm200. But that one in the link looks pretty slick, considering I will have to run this skimmer pretty wet. At least until I can sell it and get the DC180.

I'm not sure if we have any spares of those plugs. We will have to double check. It's not a normal item that we stock as a spare part.

Scott, I know this is off topic, but can you recommend a place to buy a plastic container to empty skimmate in? Preferably one with dimensions I can put a float switch in to alert me it's full? I was trying to find a picture of your sump for ideas, but didn't have any luck.

Mine is a 1 or 1.5 gallon flat nalgene container similar to this one.

US Plastics has a pretty good assortment as does Amazon.

This is how I have mine setup.

Thanks Scott! I found the container from BRS with free shipping. It's perfect!

What size ball valve do you recommend to open and close the line?

Glad to help. The valve I posted in 2nd post should work fine. I think that's the same one I use.
