Where to find...

That is not an overflow there. It is only the plumbing parts that you could build out of PVC for about $5 from any hardware store. The reason it is so expensive is that it is a direct factory replacement for the All-Glass tanks and many people do not want to get into DIY projects or do not know that they can simply use PVC instead.

Look into Durso or Stockman standpipes at www.dursostandpipes.com . He has DIY pictures, parts lists and directions there.

You may also want to do some reading on the HERBIE METHOD

Hope that helps!

yes those overflow kits that include the durso standpipe and the return with locline deff. come in handy and you really cant beat them for how easy they are to setup and adjust, mine tank is nearly silent because of how you can adjust them with the tank running

Be careful Jim. If you are planning to drill the back of the tank, I don't think the stock durso pipes listed will work without modification.

HI,
The guy that has that listed is Jeff and he lives in Mogadore. He does a ton of Ebay bussiness and you just might want to email him and since your so close just go look at it for yourself.
He also has a ton of supplies and some corals and frags.
I've been dealing with him for a couple of years now and have always left there happy!
I always like to look at stuff before I decide if I can build it easier or not, sometimes the time involved it works out better just to buy it already made, lol

im gettin a new tank, 125 and yes its gonna be drilled.. probably in the back corners in the back of the tank not the bottom

If it will be drilled in the back corners(I assume by you or someone else) these overflow kits will not work for you. These are ment for tanks with internal overflows built in top to bottom inside the tank and drilled in the bottom of the tank. For your use you would just need a few PVC fittings and a couple bulkheads for the holes.

We have simple one piece over the top of tank returns which I think are around 9.00 . for locline the prices vary depending on what you use. You would need some pvc elbows to make the bend over the top and screw the locline in. Loc line prices and such are all on the website under plumbing.

Jim, A good idea might be to go and take a look at someone's setup to get an idea of what you will need. You are welcome to come out and take a look at mine. I have both the traditional reef-ready setup and a modified deal in my refugium.

could some of you just tank some pic's and send them my way of what the hardware looks like, im working 7 days a week now and i work 2nd shift so its kinda hard to go anywhere to look at tanks
