Where to get Female Mccosker Wrasse

I'm trying to find a female Mccosker wrasse to pair it with my existing male Mccosker wrasse but unable to find one online or thru LFS. Do any of you know which would be a good place to look one for?
I'm hearing that the male wrasse will loose color if not housed with females and want to avoid it. Thanks!

Not all wrasses lose color if there are no males.I dont think Mccosker wrasse is one of those, it wont lose color.

Liveaquaria occasionally have female Mccosker wrasses both on regular fish store and diversden.

The flasher wrasses do not lose color when kept as single males. On top of that if you do find a female she will, sooner or later, turn male and then you will have a battle on your hands. Get a male of a different species and they will put on a good show flashing each other. My four flashers are my favorite fish.

Thanks for the input.. I got a female from liveaquaria in the past but it died in the qt. Now I don't even see the females in the out of stock category where you can sign up for email alert. ☹️

Thats really good to hear.. I didn't know that i can put a male flasher wrasse of different genus in the tank.. would you recommend any particular flasher wrasse that will be compatible with a male mccosker wrasse?!

females are hard to find as they arent colected often due to lack of color. Also male flashers can easily be kept together if housed in a proper sized aquarium. Have multiples atm. ( Filemented, linespot, carpenter x2 )

Pretty much personal preference. I like McCoskers, Carpenters and Yellowfin the best. Those are all reasonable priced. If money is no object Attenuatus and Bells are very nice. The experts say the Eightline flasher is the most aggressive so I've stayed away from that one. It is pretty though. For me, Attenuatus is by far the prettiest. DD has had some recently for $350.
