What site gives you the parts list?

Also, is there a site which tells you the lengths of each pipe and or how to do all this?

I"ve done the gate valve mod, and just finished my mesh wheel mod tonight....gonna wait til tomorrow or the weekend to put it on.

If I still don't get any more skimate, i'm gonna either add a second pump for recirculation, or turn the current Sedra 5000 into a recirc and feed with the Maxijet that runs my UV.

Never had the MOD before, but from what I have heard, the MOD does not give you any more skimate. The mod is only for making it easier to adjust your bubble level without always having to stick your hands in the water.

they sell that mod for 37.99, but I did it for around 15 dollars.

Were did you get the gate valve? Online or from a local plumbing manufacturer

i got mine at at a local plumber or you can order it at www.usplastics.com as mg426 said.... just make sure you get a gate valve and not a ball valve :)

I have heard that the gate valve makes all the difference in the world. I used to call on local plumbing distributors so getting a ball valve should not be a problem. They usually will not sell to non plumbers and it has been about 11 years since I had contacts. Hopefully I will find someone I know or I can always buy online

yeah, i had to order mine through the local Ace Hardware, only 9.99 I believe. Took two days to get. For the 1.25 pvc, just get a 4 foot section from lowes or home depot for $2.50, and a few 90 elbows.

And yeah, don't try the ball valve, too hard to turn at tiny increments to do what you want...tried it (impatient) - doesn't work. haha
