I am having a hard time finding non reef safe inverts. I have a small stone crab but want a few more and gorilla crabs. So any suggestions would be great.
Buy some Florida aquacultured LR, you're pretty to get some non-reef safe hitchhikers
Seriously, you might want to ask one of the outfits that does their own collecting, like Tampa Bay Saltwater, sealifeinc.net, or Reeftopia. If they don't have what you're looking for, they may be able to collect it for you.
Try asking your lfs what they do with any unwanted hitchers they find when they get their live rock shipments in. You could ask them to save any for you if they find some, chances are they'd just give them to you.
One lfs likes to keep them and charge $20 for them. This guy also likes to charge 12.99 per lb for live rock as well. None of the other lfs I know of get unwanted hitchhikers. But I will call around again this weekend.
