I will say this, tracking down rarer species of non-photosynthetic corals is not that easy but not impossible or cheap. It takes effort daily of searching & networking to make it happen. This holds true with everything in the hobby; rare fish, corals, inverts. Not to sound like a jerk but there isnt some magical store where all the rare stuff is at and we are keeping it from everyone. If your LFS can not get in for you what you are looking for, you should check sponsors of this site. Subscribe to their livestock updates if you are not doing so already. Look for sponsors that are bringing in highend corals or azoox corals to start with and see what they can do for you or can get for you.
You take Live Aquaria for example, when you subscribe to their updates, you will get an email around lunch time what most likely will be posted that evening. If you see a azoox coral listed that you might be interested in, look out for the evening update, if nothing interests you, move on to a different site. LA will not post something in the evening that isnt listed on the earlier email. Rare stuff can go in minutes, if not seconds, so it comes down to speed. Have your cart all set up and ready for check out prior to the update (I would normally put something in my cart that I am not planning to buy to hold the cart open). You learn to know the average time shops post their new livestock so you know when to look out for items. Have everything linked up in your cell phone. You can also ask shops via email or phone what days they are expecting in shipments of livestock and from what geographical location.
