Where to get Strombus snails?

I'm looking for those snails that kind of look like astrea but they breed like crazy. Any other place local or online in our shipping zone? ipsf charges $20 for 6 and that is high for a snail that "breeds like crazy".

Eric: it is a lot for the strombus, but I can tell you, with that spankin new sandbed of yours, you can't beat their 9 for $99 shipped mix 'n match. Pick right and you get an awesome deal!

Most of the stuff on their mix-n-match I don't want or need. They have some of the really cool stuff not on the list.

6 baby bristleworms - 1 $19.95 per 6 (already have)
6 sandbed clams - 1 $19.95 per 6
Tang heaven red - 1 $9.95 1/4 lb (already ordered)
Long Feather Calerpa - 1 (don't want)
Short Feather Calerpa - 1 (don't want)
6 adult strombus grazers - 1
Amphipod breeding kit - 3 $29.95

It would cost $20 for 6 + $20 shipping. Too high. I'm spoiled by PA and places that use Ground shipping near me.

Hmmm, I did a mix n match 2 months after setting up my tank and I got the worms, clams, strombus grazers and the pod kit (was 2 or 3 items though). I gotta look again. Those clams were great but disappeared a month or two ago.

OH, and the strombus do breed. I have aboiut 30 egg sacks on the front glass of my fuge about ready to burst open.

From their site:
Mix 'n Match Special, 9 items for $99.95, includes Free Fedex Shipping. Because You Asked for Diversity! Special price applies only to any 9 different selections from this list (no doubles please): Coral Heaven Complete Coral Polyp Food (makes 2 quarts; instructions), 6 Baby Bristle Worms (captive-bred), 6 SandBed Clams (captive-bred),Tang Heaven Red, Tang Heaven Yellow, WonderMud, Liquid N-Reducer, Long Feather Caulerpa, Short Feather Caulerpa, Tang Heaven Green (Ulva sp.), 6 Nerite Grazers, 6 Adult Strombus Grazers (captive-bred), 6 MicroHermits, Tang Heaven Nori, Reef Amphipods (20 specimens), 'Pod Flakes, 'Pod Mat, Amphipod Breeding Kit (counts as 3 items), Anthelia Polyps (captive-bred & hardy), Live Sand Activator (includes live sand, 6 Grazing snails, 6 MicroHermits and tiny worms), Hermit Homes (12+ empty snail shells; will help reduce competition between hermit crabs). Now shipping - all items listed are IN STOCK! We include 6 Free MiniStars ($24.95 value) when you triple-SuperSize your order!

So the clams, strombus, worms, and micro hermits all in there. So is the pod kit.

Right, clams, strombus, worms (even though I don't need any), hermits (which I don't want).

So basically paying $100 for 6 strombus snails and getting some clams as a bonus. Too much.

If you've got snails and eggs, do you have a few strombus I could buy from you?

Well, when the new ones hatch and grow a bit yo ucould have them! B ut it'll be a little while. The adults right now I don't want to give up.

Have hundreds of little chitons (I think) in there you could have some. The buggers only seem to come out at night!

You could come on over when the family is away. Shoot me an email.

As far as I know this is the first batch of eggs since I have had them. I know I got a few adults, or had a few, but there's only one I regularly see on the front glass and it just laid these eggs. Don't want to remove that one. Don't know how long they take to mature. These eggs are going to hatch any hour now though...

Dang! I didn't notice that. My tank is cycling now and I had kept that page for when I was ready. Sorry!

$1.00 each! But they only ship corals right now or so they say. And $150.00 minimum defeats my purpose to find them cheaply. :)

Joel, don't you have any baby strombus? Any fully developed but younger snails?
