Where to get tank drilled in Sacto

Well, It's been a while . . .

Hi all you Sacto saltwater types. I am getting ready to set my tank back up (it's been three years). I HATED using an overflow, so I thought I would get the back drilled in a few select places. That leads me to this post. Where does a person get such a task done? Does Pet Connection still do it, with Rob gone? Any new ideas on hole locations (no wise cracks, please!)? If you don't want to post, email me: larzmarz@surewest.net as I am open to any and all ideas. I learned from the last time I started up a tank . . . take the time to do it right, or do it twice - or three times - or four ...

Thanks

Larry

ps Is it bad form to actually post my name? I see almost no one does it.

Hmmm if it's not tempered then you could DIY with a drill.
I don't know of any place that does this locally though
:(

Yes start right. I was told that so MANY times before I started and have done just that. Most everything in my tanks has been crystal smooth..

I almost always post my name to my posts, mostly though in other forum sections, most people know me in this one.

:)

Welcome back Larry! I don't want to suggest that he'll do it, but Matt Wandell (wombat2) is quite adept at drilling tanks.

Also, Jim at Catalina would probably do it with a little proding.

edit: added my name

I just called creative glass and mirror in fair oaks, the guy said he'll do it. $25 for a 1.5" hole. I'm taking mine there tomorrow morning. I'll let everyone know how it turns out :)

Dick's Rancho Glass off Folsom Blvd drilled a sump for me. Maybe it's time for the club to invest in a real glass drill and then drill holes for members at a reduced cost.

I got mine done today. Awsome job. A++++ all the way. I'll post some pics after I get everything set up (I'm moving my tank this weekend)
