Where to order prints from

I just ordered prints from walgreens, went and got them and the had cropped the crap out of all of them, chopping off heads and such. Where can I get prints from that won't do that?

It sounds like the aspect ratio of your camera is different than the print sizes you're trying to make. If this is the case you're going to have to do one of the following:

1. Crop them yourself before uploading them to wherever you go for printing.
2. Use the print company's tools to modify or approve the crops before they are printed.
3. Print sizes that match your camera's aspect ratio.

It is a d5000 I cropped the photos myself and left enough of a boarder around the photos, when I got the prints they had cut out parts of the subject(cut off tops of heads and split the subject) they cropped them off center.

They should give you your money back, that's not right.

Back to your original question, I'm not sure where you're located but if you're looking to have prints mailed to you I've had good luck with EZPrints.com for basic prints and Bayphoto.com and MPIX.com for higher end products.

I've seen the metallic prints from mpix.com on macro photos of flowers, they are really amazing. The paper makes a big difference.
