Where to put PH's?

Hey all,

I am setting up a 37 column. I've attached a sketch. I was wondering what you guys thought the best place too keep PH's would be. I have a Koralia 3, 1, and Nano and I also have a few Aquaclear 50's lying around. I can mix and match so that I have the most appropriate flow. The tank will be softies (shrooms, zoo's, etc).

Thanks,
Jorge

Put them in the trash, then drill the tank for a closed loop. ;)

Actually, I would put them in the top-back corners pointing down towards the opposite corner at the bottom of the tank.

Have you considered drilling for a closed loop? I just drilled my 56 gallon column (Top Fin, I think) yesterday and was surprised at how easy it was to drill (just make sure it isn't tempered).

Lol....I had thought about it but decided against it mostly because of the work and this really not being my tank....Its for my brother and so I figured i have the PH's, might as well use them. If I did a CL I'd have to buy a new pump and I dont think hed want to do that. That said, when I set up my big tank I am definitely liking the trashing the PH's idea. :)

Which PH's would you use in this set up and how man?
