O.k. I was looking around today and I noticed that my clown fish is missing in my 125 gal. tank. Heres is the question. Do I need to start moving rock around to see if he died. Keep in mind that this tank just got moved on sat. My water qual. is not to bad a little high on phosphates. All the other fish seem fine. The clown was about 2 to 3 inches. He may have jumped out and the dog could have got him. I just was wondering if he did die will it mess with the water, That and the clouds are just setteling down now so I dont want to strees the other fish if It wont hurt anything.

P.S. I wont have the skimmer up and running till this sat. when I get the new sump. Also is there a spell check on this fourm because my spilling:) sucks.

You might just try to take a powerhead and shoot inbeetween and behind the rocks, if he's dead he should blow out. I think you'll be fine, just put the skimmer on as soon as you can, and mabe run a bag of carbon.

I've had really good luck with Nassarius snails. They are like vultures and eat something before it can foul up your tank. They're also great at stirring the sand and eating left-overs.
