Which 14k bulb?

I need to change my 250w HQI DE bulbs on my 90. Which bulb do you prefer? Hamilton 14k, or Pheonix 14k?

I have both, I prefer the color of the Hamilton but I think the Phoenix has better par. I think it is a tossup but based on appearance I would do the Hamilton.

I have Hamilton right now, so I ordered Pheonix to give them a try. Was hoping to get more opinions. Probably not a lot of people running DE anymore.

I found the Phoenix to be almost an unnatural blue color but it still makes the tank look good with no actintic supplementation. You got me hooked on DE and I will stay there. My next bulbs will be 10k with T5 supplementation.

how long did you let them burn in Jack? I didn't like them at first when I saw Kurts. but, that was only after they had been used for a couple days.

The ones Ihave were Kurts...they are very burned in. lol Nook has one of them right now if yuo want to go see what it looks like.

aren't those just reflectors?I've not seen them.
