which 150w bulb to go with

Im looking to change out my 150w phoenix 14k de , its on a electronic ballast the phoenix is slightly to blue for me. I see dfs has xm 15k on sale would this be a good choice or do es anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

Iwasaki 50k DE. Not as blue as a phoenix, yet brings out the color of corals. This bulb looks nice on a electronic ballast.

I have heard a lot of good things about the Ice Cap 14000K 150w bulb. It has 1 of the highest 150w bulb PAR numbers. I also heard good things about the 150w Radium. I am up in the air on those 2 for my next bulb change.

Give the EVC 150W 14K or 20K DE lamp a try! You won't be disappointed!

I will 2nd the Icecap 14K. I used one on a 28 JBJ for 6 months and it was crisp white and shy on the visible blue. Par is intense with this bulb on nano's.

I like the coral coloration I get with the 20K's though so I switched that tank over to the Radium.
