perfect thread, right as i am about to start dosing these in my tank...i am pretty sure i am going with the randy's 2part(well 3 part if you use the Mg)
But lets see what the pro's and con's are of each chemical.

I just purchased some ESV to figure out the dosing requirements and calculated that it would be too expensive - so I am going to be using Randy's recipe from now on.

i started out with ESV B-ionic, then once i lost my job, i started looking at other means, and mixed up a batch using Randy's Recipe. you cant tell i switched, other than i save about $15-$20 a month. i have been using Randy's for over a year now, and probably wont switch back to anything else.

ESV B-ionic is the only one I've used based on recommendations other than Randy's.

I will probably try Randy's in a couple months.

Check out the online dealers (ReefGeek, MD and others) for fair pricing.

Best

Has anyone ever used Ocean's Blend 2-part system? It has over 70 elements which keep it balanced like natural seawater.

I just picked up some of that ocean blend about 2 weeks ago and have been using it. Seems ok so far but alittle concerned about the elements in it I can't test for especially the iodione. I feed heavily so my alkalinity tend to drop quickly. I need to add the alkalinity part more often and the iodine could pose a problem.

I've used Esv for the last year I've been using Randys Two part and Kent Tech M for magnesium.
