Which Anemone Best?

I've got a 14 gallon Bio-cube that I plan on devoting to a pair of Picasso Clowns. At the moment i've got 16lbs of live sand, and 16lbs of LR on the way. The aquarium has decent lighting 2 24watt compact flourescents, and .75 watt LED lunar lights.

Once the cycle is done, I'd like to add an anemone before the clowns (the tank will only have the pair of clowns, a host, and a few snails/hermit crabs).

What do you think would be the best host anemone for the species of clown i'm planning on, and the tank size?

I wouldn't keep anything other than a RBTA (bubble tip anemone) because the lighting is not very powerful and bubble tips tend to split so they do not get as large as some others. I would wait alot longer than once your cycle is finished as well to add an anemone. 6+ months is normally the right time.

14 gallons could be pushing it for a bubble tip even. I have seen specimens of this species attain some impressive sizes, although this won't necessarily happen in even the most ideal conditions.

Personally I wouldn't do it. Water quality will be an issue with that small of a tank, and I feel that even a BTA would get too big for it. The last BTA I had was about 15 inches fully open when I sold it.

I planned this aquarium just for a pair of Picasso's, as my 55 gallon reef allready has a pair of Ocellaris. I was just curious if i'd be able to keep any host anemone for them in such a small aquarium.

With the lighting you have in there, I would say you can't keep any anemone. Sorry, I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but any one that you would put in there (aside from a carribean condi) would bleach out and die.
