Which Ballast?

Anyone have, ICE Cap, Lumatek or Coral Vue? I am looking to upgrade old crappy ballasts. 250 Watt.

I am leaning towards Lumatek.

I've used IceCap but went for the lowered price ARO and work as good
CoralVu I have one and buying another one as back up, this one the dimable version attracted me.
I retrofitted my pocket to run T5's due to the economic harsh around the Nation, a penny here and a penny there helps at the end of the month

Just bought a 250 watt Ice cap myself. Haven't hooked it up yet though. I'll let you know what I think when I do.

I run two IceCap 250W electronic ballasts with Lumenbright mini's and SE XM 20k bulbs 14-15 inches above a 120g, on an RKE v2 controller . The combo works great, and was the visual (color) that I was looking for.

BTW, I work in Sugar Land, live in Katy...

I run both Icecap and Coralvue. Both are about the same and good ballasts.

I like my Lumateks. cool, silent and reliable. not to mention the snazzy purple case.
