Which Bulb to choose?

I've got 2 x 175 MH -- one of my bulbs just broke. Not sure what happened, but I'll blame it on my wife. Then she won't care about me spending the cash on replacement bulbs...

I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the Reeflux 12k or the Hamilton 14K. I don't like it too blue, but I do want my colors to pop (my pink/orange rics are very dull under by current bulbs) Right now I'm just using one actinic 96 watt PC to supplement. I had two, but the other was 10K and pretty yellow, so I just took that out.

So...what are y'alls thoughts on the Reeflux 12K or Hamilton 14K? Anyone have pics of their tanks under these bulbs?

Go for the Iwasaki 15,000K's.

I have an extra XM 10,000K bulb with about 4 months on it I'll sell you for 20 bucks. If you get it you can check out the Iwasaki's color and intensity.

third the iwasaki. highest PAR out of 175w bulbs according to sanjay.

The color is a nice crisp white as well. Not too blue or too yellow.

hamilton 14k's have worked real good for me. excellent growth.

I got mine at Premium Aquatics. It might be a few bucks cheaper someplace else but ground shipping gets it to you next day.

I'd vote for the Aquaconnect 14k. Its the closest thing I've found to the Pheonix 14k in a single end bulb. Ive got a 175 watt on my frag tank.
