Which bulb?

I have three options for 150 Watt MH HQI in SA

Venture 10 000K
BLV 10 000K
Aqualine Buschke (aqua-medic) 13000K

Any suggestions as to which one would be best (colour and intensity wise) for may 15G nano? I Would like to keep one of the smaller clams and maybe some sps.

I would say a 10K if you plan on keeping clam and sps, they use more of the color spectrum thats put off by the lower temp bulbs. You can always add some antitic bulbs too if you would like some more blue to the water. Or if you dont have any space for that, just go with the 13K It'll have a lil less PAR, but in a 15 gal, that really wont matter.

i personally would go for a 13-15k bulb. Light intensity isnt going to be an issue in a 15g tank. a non-supplimented 10k bulb is going to be VERY yellow. It wont show the true colors of your SPS or clams. Everything will have a browner hue.

Thanks guys. I think I will prefer 13000K bulb. At 150 USD in SA it's a bit on the steep side, but I'll try it.
