Which Camera

So i want a good camera that has good zoom and and takes fast pictures. Something good for taking pictures of fish, and animals. Im not looking to spend more than 400. I was thinking of the Nikon Coolpix p80 or the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. Which is a better camera? Are eaither of these good? Is there a better camera? Any help would be great. Thanks Puffer21

They look pretty dang similar to me. I like Canon so that is who I will root for.

The G10 would be better...If you can afford that great, otherwise go with the SX10 IS. I am assuming when you say "Animals" you are talking about your dog in the park or a squirrel in a pine tree. If you were talking about a box turtle in a 20 gallon tank...get the G10 hands down.

the sx10is is the new version of the s5is. i started a thread a while ago about it that lasted a while. great camera, but for aquariums, it takes some getting used to. Wonderful cameras though. I hear good things about the SX10 is.
