which cell phone for Apex?

Hi,

I'm looking into getting a new cell phone and trying to decide on service provider as well.

I have a Apex controller and would like to monitor/control it w/ a cell phone. I'm not sure if they ever came out w/ a app. for the apex yet or not?

I think I get better coverage where I am w/ verizon but I have had AT&T w/I phone in the past and liked that although I would rop calls from my home becouse of low signal strength.

So I am concidering a Iphone 3gs/AT&T or one of the droids or blackberry w/ verizon.

I would like to know if the Apex will work w/ these phones and which one would be the best?

Thanks,

Chad

I use Aqua notes on my iPod and it is awesome (A+), and it works on the iPad also.
I have a Omnia II w/Windows Mobile (just pass on that whole OS it's a dead horse) There is an app for the Android that works (no personal experience with that one til next month!)
Not sure about anything for the BB that I am aware of.

Ken has an app that's browser based, works on any phone with browser support. You can monitor the tank, graph and even re-program outlets from your smart phone. Doesn't matter what brand. kenargo.com

I used the AquaNotes app for my iPhone, works great when I am at home, its figuring out how to get it to work outside the darn house!!!!

I've kind of been out of the cell phone game for awhile...as well as the reef thing too I guess. Is the android solely a verizon based phone?

If you download the android app definitely comment here. I'm not sure when I will get anything but it would be nice to make a educated decision when I do jump in.:)

I loved my Iphone though and I would love to get a Ipad some day as well.

Look up the linke for TankManage (server/database) or Apex Utilities link (aka; TankManager2) cookie based.

If your phone has internet access, you can also just log right in via the browser - no app required. It's a little clunky doing it that way, but it works.
