Which clam better for placement on rocks?

Been considering adding some more nice clams to my sps setup and one of my goals is to place them in the rock structure. There's def. better choices for rock struture vs sand placement.
I understand there's alot of opininons and wanted to get some insight before making my decision in terms of which is better suited for rocky bottom vs sand .

My Croceas are much happier on the rock work. I acclimated them to the light in the sand and they kept falling over and moving. After a week of acclimation, I moved them up on the rocks and they have been very happy there.

So croceas are better in rock substarte than maximas or derasas?

I missed the substrate part. I mean mine are doing better on the LR, I'm not sure about substrate.

crocea, maxima....way up top w/ lots of light on rocks
