AH! I was hoping this would thread would die or take the direction of what it was intended. A poll on clams.
The only reason I posted what I did was because a young child in my house inquired about what a "sha%$^d clam looked like?" When I asked what she was talking about, the reply was "I read it on your fish geek site." I did not give the exact meaning-just a rare clam.
This site is viewed by people of all ages and it put me on the spot. So that is why I posted.

As far as sucking off the government, that in a round about way what I do for a living. I am sure you have heard of people that sell the Pentagon paper clips for $100-that in a twist is what I do but not to that extreme. I own a business that sells products to government agencies. Why government? because they pay their bills on time and I can get very very very good markup.
From here on out I will change my "occupation" to
"blank"

I think this whole thing is silly . I was trying to add a little humor to this thread without saying anything out right that would upset anyone . I see humor is something that is in the eye of the reader . I read a lot of threads on here and I will tell you that this little comment is not as big as others I have seen. There are some screen names and avatars that are worse than my comment .

I am sorry that geox had to explain something to his child because of something I wrote for this I do say I am sorry to you geox.

I find it a shame that in this country everything is so serious now days and people have lost the ablilty to read something or see something and just have a laugh or a smile or something without feeling someone has done something wrong . Lighten up people life is short smile and laugh and have a good time before you die
