Which Clam?

I am researching a little before I buy a clam. Which clam is most hardy? Where should the clam be placed? How much flow do they need? How often should they be fed? and what should I feed it? Any special requirements? What should the water quality be?

Here are some specs of my tank..
120g, (2) 250w MH, (2) Seio 1500 Powerheads, ASM G3.

Right now I have a acan lord, favia, mushrooms, leathers, galaxia, monti cap, digitatas.

One of my LFS has a Blue Lip Squamosa, and I am planning on buying one this weekend. Can I place the clam on the sand bed, or do you need a rock under the clam so it can attach?
