Hey Guys setting up another 40 Breeder mostly SPS but definitely some LPS and zoas.

Looking for fish Ideas. Im going to definitely try a dwarf angel of some sort, and was looking for some other ideas. Wrasses seem like an attractive choie but i know nothing of them or their compatibilty. Any input would be awesome, oh yes I almost forgot, I do not want to put any cover over the tank due to light loss. TIA!

Just make sure and add the dwarf angel last. They can be quite aggressive. I added one to my 37 gallon and I couldn't add anything with out him pestering them to death. I even had to take him back to the LFS.

I have a Helfrichi Firefish that I love. Very interesting coloration.

I certainly wouldn't put a wrasse or a firefish in a tank without a top. You can build a clear mesh top that won't block much light at all. I have one on my tank and keep numerous acropora corals on the bottom.

. . . edited . . ., oh yes I almost forgot, I do not want to put any cover over the tank due to light loss. TIA!

No wrasses unless you have a mesh cover with 1/4 inch holes. And that precludes firefish, jawfish, and more.

Oh ya. Definitely put a cover on for a firefish or wrasses. Sorry should have read better. I have a clear 1/4" mesh top that doesn't block any significant amount of light. I have a maxima clam that is about half way up the aquarium that is doing great, and that is with T5s!

Will a six line mess with snails or shrimp? If not that would be a cool fish.

Heres what I was thinking..

Tailspot blenny
yellow watchman goby
coral beauty angel (if it nips its gone!~)

And I was looking for some smaller "schooling" fish that I could have a few of.
Let me know what you guys think.
