dryrock is cool, especially from places like marcorocks and reeferrocks. YOu get to see the exact pieces you're getting, and in my experience they're usualy more porous than LR you can find around LFS's, even marshall island.

it costs a bunch less too =)

We had a group buy recently from marcorocks, I believe everyone was happy with their purchase.

My next tank's display is all marco / reeferrocks, and my sump is just going to hold a bunch of LR for a few months to seed the dry rock.

aquarium concepts and dolphin got fresh shipments of indo/jakartan rock...i was most impressed with it. so i picked out the exact shape/size pieces i needed, bout 50 pounds worth...so it all worked out good for me. thx for the help.

$6 a pound? cant remember, but the new store is very very nice...super stocked.
