They have "MEDIUM" kits for 1500gph output, and "HIGH" output ones for 2400gph........what should i get for my 75 reef?

2 "medium kits" would put your tank at approx 40x turnover, which is perfect for keeping a lot of different corals imo. You could also do two of the "high" output ones if you were looking into doing an sps only tank...

no, i wanted both SPS and LSP...you know what, i dont even know the apprimate definition of the two. What is it? i know that i want to be able to keep acros and motipora, and frogspawns, to candy canes, and zoos...... and ricordeas, but i dont even kow what falls into each category, i just know that SPS needs mroe light...right?

all i know is i had a tunze 6060 which produce around 1600 gph. on a four foot tank and you really have to watch where you put them.
they will throw some sand around. if your going bare bottom then i would give a thumbs up all the way. but a 75 which i think is 20 inches high your going to have to be careful. JMO.
i love nano tunzes. i think two of the 6045's would be perfect. which is around 1100 gph

im only running two of the 6025s and their perfect for softies and lps.

again this is just my opinion. alot of people that have these big power heads do great because thier tank is fully stocked. but when your starting out with minimal corals you may find its too much flow at the begining. i would start with one and work your way up to two. if i put it on the right side i had to position it diagonally. it still pushed away my sand bend in that corner.

then again it my be perfect for you just giving a little of my experience

i love the knowledge and experince, because i lack both...lol.... Tunze's are a little over my budget though, that is why im looking at the MJ's.

Seth, the 55 gallon stand will work great, thanks. I just did the medium flow on my mj1200,it's plenty for my 120 gallon. The high flow kit would be too much.
