Which mode in Ecotech vortech Pump is best for Sps tank?

i am using reef crest now, not synced up, but thinking about anti synced them or trying tidal swell

one on short pulse 24/7 to keep a nice big wave, the other on long pulse in 2-5 minutes cycles. This seems to be the sweet spot for my tank

one of them is in Nutrient transport mode(non lagoon) 100% of the time, the other is in reef crest 100% of the time, seems to work well for me.

I run both of my 40's at 100% in reef crest mode for my 90G SPS tank. I do use the night mode feature as well.

I run through all modes with Apex/WXM. If I had to choose just one I'd either use Reefcrest or tidal swell.

Short pulse wave during the day and reef crest on 50% at night.

Typed from my phone because I have nothing better to do.

I have been running Reef Crest with two mp40s opposite each other on a 4' SPS tank for couple of years. I love reef crest, i run 100% during the day, and run them at minimum intensity at night. I called EcoTech and talked to one of the guys about it and he suggested reef crest or nutrient export mode for SPS, but mainly reef crest. I told him that's what I was already using, just wanted their thoughts on it. He mentioned playing around with the placement on the glass, he mentioned it was better to have them a little more than halfway up or higher, not to place them below the middle. He said place them where no rock or coral is blocking the flow, you can move them more forward on the glass if needed.

That is what I took from our conversation with EcoTech.
