Which one?

Im going to give sps a try again in my 20g which has a 175w mh over it. Im trying to decide between a birdsnest or a sunset monti? Which one would be better to try out first? They are the same price at the fish store I go to and I really like both of them but only want to chose one of them for now and make sure it lives.

I would try the birdsnest. They can be good indicators of how good your water quality is but aren't terribly hard to keep.

The sunset is much more atractive IMO but like stated above the birdsnest is a good indacater of your water quality. In my experence they prefer med light and flow.

Start with the birdnest if you are sucessful with that try the sunset.

++birdsnest. for me the montis were more difficult to keep the color consistant. more rewarding was the birdnest.

Pretty corals add architectural interest because of shape as well as color. Some monti's are so bright, that it is an awesome addition. I usually can not decide these issues and get both. But certainly, before adding any living creature, I would want to be sure my tank (parameters, etc) are stable. I do not want any living thing to perish.
