Need more info.

How long has your tank been set up?
How big is your tank?
What lights do you have?
Have ever kept an anemone before?

My tank is about 46 gallons
It has been set up for almost a year now
I have 10,000K T5 or something
No but i would like to try it out (Is it just like coral but it can move and you feed it meaty food?)

The dimentions of my aquarium are 36''L,17''W,21''H

If this is your first hosting sea anemone than it is recommended to start out with a bubble anemone. How many watts of T5 do you have and are they HO? They require pristine water conditions and should be fed meaty items of marine origin once a week.

I think I have 100 to 200 or something watts andwill the bulb tip anemone try to kill my snails on the wall, will it purposly also try to murder my reef.

The only reason I'm getting an anemone is because it would be nice to have and ever sence I brought my clownfish home he looked a little depressed

Clowns are not depressed without an anemone. Maybe a mate would keep your clown occupied, the interaction would be interesting. I have 5 bta's in one tank and 5 in another, 3+ yrs never lost a fish or snail to them. Most of the more difficult anemones will require more lighting than you have. Hoestly if you don't even know how many watts you need to look at your fixture, it will only take a moment.
100 is not enough to keep an anemone in a 46, 200 would work for a bta, they are the least demanding of all the host anemones.

They will change. Try and get a mate that is a little larger than the clown you already have.

How do I know if the fish is a male or a female or do they switch thier gender?

How long have you have it? They only switch one way -- from male to female, and can't go back. Best bet is to get one that is smaller then the one that you already have.

What species of clownfish do you have to begin with? How big is your current one? As todd said your best bet is too purchase a smaller juvenile clownfish in order to ensure that it is a male.
