Which phyto to feed clams?

Which is the prefered phyto species to feed clams?
Right now I am culturing / feeding Nanochloropsus, which is 4 to 6 micron size. Would it be better to feed Nanochloris, which runs 1.5 to 2.5 microns?

I heard that Nanochloropsu are pretty good...ther eis a few others out there but since im not set up to culture phyto yet I havent really nailed down the reasearch..
