I have a fairly new setup and was curious if anyone can offer me some advice on ricordea. I have seen them on various websites and want to incorporate some in my reef tank. Here are the details...
72 gallon bowfront tank
29 gallon sump w/ 10 gallon refugium
Aquac Remora Pro protein skimmer
24 w UV Sterilizer
80 lbs live rock in tank and 20 lbs live rock in sump
return pump pushes about 300 gph at given location back to center of tank
2 korelia 1200 gph powerheads(one in each corner aimed towards center of tank)
Lighting-Power Compacts, 260 watts, 130 10,000k, and 130 actinic
I am also using the skimmer prefilter chamber for carbon as well
I am curious which ricordea best suit my setup and also, if they suit it what location would I put them in.
My aquascaping allows for me to put them anywhere from low to upper mid section of the tank at this point. With various amounts of water flow depending on location. I dont have any dosing or processes for calcium or anything etc and will be testing and using chemicals to alter this for the time being.
I have had salt water fish for a while and am new to reefing, just curious of any opinions here. I have a picture in my profile on here of my aquascaping if that helps. There are some differences now as this was before I added the sump and second powerhead. The rock positioning has stayed the same.
Thanks to anyone that helps me out here in advance.
