Which Setup?

Okay, so I'm currently faced with a dilemma. I'm running a sumpless, skimmerless 55 gal reef with pretty easy corals like zoas and finger leathers. I have an opportunity to buy a 75 gal setup with a stand, overflow, plumbing, etc. but I can't really afford it unless I either break the bank or sell off one of my LED bars..
Well, let me back up. I had been running a single 48" LED bar over the tank that was about 3.5" to 4" wide. The corals seemed to be doing fine, just not the brightest colors but I've pretty much chalked that up to poor water quality I was having troubles with. Two days ago I added a second bar to the tank but I have an opportunity to sell it if I wanted to.
My question for y'all is this.. For the same price I can either upgrade to the 75 gal tank with a sump but I would be forced back down to a single light for a while or I can buy a HOB skimmer/overflow combo for the sumpless 55 gal and keep both lights.
Which would honestly be the better decision? I can't decide.. I've gone back and forth on both options. Any opinions would be welcomed.

If your breaking the bank then I wouldn't go with the 75 gallon as reefing isn't fun whenever its causing problems elsewhere (from experience). Personally, Id purchase a 40 breeder at Petco for $40 with a 20 gallon sump for $20. I prefer width more than length.

Sorry, I typed that on the fly. It wouldn't break the bank if I got rid of one of the lights. Only if I tried to keep both lights AND get the bigger tank. And I wish I could drill and sump my 40 gal I already have but like I said, my lights are all 48" so they wouldn't really work for a breeder.
