Sorry, no pics. That skimmer was replaced last year with an AquaMedic T5000 baby. The hardest part was removing the old piping... he ended up sawing off the pieces and drilling out the bulkhead, then replacing with all new CPVC. As for the MJ1200... I shouldnt say its a needlewheel... it was a stock MJ1200 with the MJ1200 venturi kit (premium sells the adapter for something like $4). That was it.

I looked at that, but it looks like the full skimmer sits in the tank? I really wanted a HOB. Maybe I was wrong about the tunze skimmer though?

oh ok, not really wanting to hack up my new skimmer.

Got the remora last night, hooked up and running. Man they weren't kidding about micro bubbles, but I understand they should stop after the skimmer breaks in. I know they say 1-2 weeks for break-in, is that accurate?
