Please help me decide which skimmer I should get for me lightly stocked, softie 29 gallon tank. I am trying to decide between the Tunze Nano Skimmer ($137) and the Tunze DOC 9005 ($255).
The only problem with the more expensive 9005 is that the dimension are 5x4, while the Nano is only 5x2. I will be placing the skimmer in the tank, but is that 5x4 size going to take up way to much real estate? It does not seem like a lot more but its actually almost double in size! The tank is only 30" long and 12" wide. Is it worth it for the increased performance though?
