Which tank to buy?

or
Planet Aquariums formerly Oceanic, the tank is custom and about 300g. Vintage tank stand.

I contacted Reef Savvy first and they told me 7 months there is 110 tanks ahead of me.

Red Sea or Planet Aquarium will take only a few weeks.

I would go big. 300 gallon.
You can’t go wrong with either though

I have not had a fish tank in 7 years. My last tank was 180g so I was kinda leaning towards a larger tank. However they did not have sexy tanks like that Red Sea back then. I am trying to catch up on all the latest and greatest.

Well that 300 gallon looks pretty sexy to me, looks like plenty of space under the canopy too. Both look pretty nice but I'll vote for the 300 gallon even with an internal overflow.

300. The extra money you spend on the Red Sea can be spent elsewhere. For example I almost spent $5k on a RedSea 170g and ended up setting up an entire 180G for $2k.

I’d go for the 300. Rimless is nice but a canopy gives a really clean look as well. No wires or lights to take attention away from the tank. Also keeps jumpers from carpet surfing

Go with the 300. The canopy provides a much cleaner look overall with your lighting. I also agree with JTJ about it eliminating carpet surfing.

Bigger is better in this hobby. If you can afford it, go with the 300g. The cost of the tank will be the cheapest purchase you make FYI, so don't base the decision off of that. A canopy is nice but it won't prevent all carpet surfing since the back of all canopies are open...

Good idea I have 150,180 and now 375 gallons. You will not regret
