Which Tunze Stream for a 150 gal. tall?

Hi there,

After thinking for a while about which pumps to use for tank circulation I decided to save my pennies and buy the Tunze Streams. My tank is a 150 gal. tall: 4'L, 2'W, and 30" tall. I have an internal center overflow on the back wall of the tank, and plan on having a deep sandbed and some corals. Which Tunze Streams do you guys think would be good for this tank--and which way should I aim them? Any ideas would be really helpful. Thanks!

TaubBaer,
Two of the 6101 streams will be sufficient as they can have an adjusted flow rate of 2,500 to 12,000 Litres an hour.
Id go for two of these as they will provide a sufficient flow in your aquarium. There are the smaller uncontrallable streams available as well but you find you can produce better circulation and flow with the 6101 models if they are hooked up to a multicontroler. This will also allow for an extra to be added if you wand to increase flow even more later on.

As Rodger said the 6101 will soon be replacing the 6000.

Cheers
Ryan

No, MSRP is $319.95, they will replace both the 6000 and 6100 and can be run as either pump without any additional equipment.
