Which type LEDs?

I asked the same question on another sponsor forum but no answer.
I realize AI uses XPE for Blue and RB.
Can you please tell me,
What is the lm/w for blue?
What is the mA for the RB?
This probably has been answered before, pardon me for being a newbie, or coming back to the hobby after 3 years :)
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

I am unsure of the lm/w output of the Cree XPE. I've honestly never paid much attention to lumens ratings before, but rather real world par numbers. If I'm not mistaken the XPE's are being ran to 700ma, but I will call AI today to confirm that number and post back here.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy
I appreciate your help.
I did business with you before but that was almost 4 years ago. We talked on the phone a couple of times.
I was travelling for work passed couple of years so could not maintain a tank, but now I am back. Happy to see you are still around.
As far as my questions sorry about the typo,I meant to ask:
lm/W for the blue LEDs
and
mV for the RB LEDs (Not mA)
Sorry about that.
Looking forward to hearing back from you
tks
Dave

I spoke with AI and they do not have the lm/w rating for these LED's at the mA they are being driven at, which is ~925mA according to them. The spec sheets on the Cree LED's are all at 350mA, so it's hard to get the lm/w rating for the power AI is driving them to.

Jeremy,
I'm trying to make a decision between AI or Vertex and just want to see which one is using stronger Blue & RB.
Data at 350 mA would be fine since it is only to compare the 2 fixtures.
I really think they should advertise this data, since there are a few XRE blue and RB, in different strengths. So the user should know what they are getting.
Can I buy the Vertex from you guys?
I am thinking 4 AI blue or a 48" Illumina 260.
Which one would be more par in your opinion?
The illumina you have is 200, correct? since 260 was only recently released!
What do you think of it? is it worth the money?
Tks
Dave
