which vinegar and how much to soak ?

I am going to clean 6100 this coming weekend. I saw supermarket has
their own brand of white vinegar with 5% acid. Will this work? do I need to mix it with some water so it won't damage the pump?

I use 50% white vinegar with 50% Ro water and let it soak for a few hours, them I clean the parts with an old toothbrush

That is fine, that is exactly what I use here. You can use it straight or mixed 50/50 with RO water.
